    Pathfinder Tires
Pathfinder
tires are produced by the Kelly Springfield Company and
retailed through independent tire dealer, Discount Tire.
Pathfinders are a leading tire and popular purchase for many
off road drivers. There are four types of Pathfinder tire
and these are the Pathfinder All Terrain Tire, The
Pathfinder SUV Tire, The Pathfinder Luxury Tire and the
Pathfinder Trail AP Tire. These four types are built for
hard driving over rough roads and tracks. Pathfinder tires
aren’t just for off road driving; on the highway they will
give you a smooth ride. It is clear the designers and
manufacturer had the consumer in mind when the developed
this tire as the technology and material used makes the
Pathfinder live up to its name.
The
Pathfinder All Terrain is a tire that as the name suggests,
can pretty much go anyway and will not leave you stuck. Upon
introduction into the tire market, the AT was tested at one
of Goodyear’s testing grounds. On a scale from 1 to 10, the
AT was given a rating of 10 by the engineers and designers
in attendance. The specifications for the AT are as follows;
the sidewall has been redesigned for more rugged conditions,
as have the tread pattern – which now has even better
traction than before. The tire will give a constant
footprint, regardless of the load, uniformity between the
tire and the wheel rim, nylon bead improvement cutting down
on tire noise when driving on bitumen and many other
positive improvements. The tire is one of Pathfinder tires
better products.
On
other tire from the Pathfinder collection of high quality
tires is the aforementioned Pathfinder Luxury tire. This
particular tire has the rugged looks but is designed for
smooth highway use. The tire has excellent all weather
traction capabilities and can maintain a good grip on the
road even in light snow or icy conditions. The tread is
designed with circumferential grooves, which apparently
force water away from the tire allowing continual grip. The
sidewalls hug the wheel rim tightly which helps in cornering
at high speeds. Clearly, this tire is also a worthy purchase
for any motorists.
Pathfinder tires like any other tire
require maintenance to ensure top performance. If you are
one of these people that don’t check tire pressure often,
then you no matter which tire you buy, you’re going to have
problems. Take care of your tires and Pathfinder tires will
take care of you.
