    Wanli
Tires
From the
Asian nation of China, Wanli Tires has grown into a world
leading tire manufacturer. It was the end of the 1990s when
Wanli, wanting to expand its interests internationally, took
on the major tire makers and began retailing tires in North
America. Since then the company has seen steady sales growth
across the continent.
Wanli tires
are often sold at greatly reduced prices and for that reason
there are still some people that believe Wanli are not as
reliable as the more expensive tires. This is a total
misconception, in order to produce tires or any other car
parts and accessories, strict guidelines must be followed.
Government agencies continually keep tabs on tire production
and if the bureaucrats in these agencies find any floors in
the tires, the company is heavily fined. In short, a Wanli
tire is just as safe as a Goodyear. When the company first
penetrated the American market, management focused on truck
tire production and sales, it has only been in recent years
that Wanli Tires has started producing and retailing tires
for all vehicles.
One of
Wanli’s popular brands of tire is the 10R17.5 which is a
standard heavy duty 16ply highway tire. The tire has a deep
tread pattern that grips the road in all weather conditions.
Unlike tires from major companies, this tire doesn’t have
any extras like a triple polyester sidewall, etc. It is
simply a solid road tire that is guaranteed to keep you
moving. It is probably because of the company’s no frills
attached policy that makes Wanli tires a lot cheaper than
other brands.
If you visit
the company’s website you will see that simplicity is
obviously their motto. The 225/70R19.5 is light truck tire
with a very deep tread pattern which obviously has been
designed as a heavy work tire. Wanli doesn’t seem to have a
huge selection of tires on their website, but there are
nonetheless, some excellent models that would last a few
years on any vehicle – provided tire maintenance was often
performed.
If
you’re in the market for a new set of tires for your car or
light truck, head down to your local tire dealer and ask
about Wanli tires - you may be able to pick up a full set
for a very cheap price. If you do happen to pick up a cheap
set of tires, take care of them and they’ll probably last
you a few years.
